However, Xiaomi had delivered packages that contained a wide variety of products (not smartphones) of the company.
The event held by Xiaomi is also the largest outdoor event held at the World Trade Center since it was rebuilt, and of course this Guinness World Record that it achieved, is nothing more than an additional publicity for the company.
Although Xiaomi has been present in the US for two years, it only sells products such as the Mi Box S, Mi Electric Scooters, Mi Power Bank, Mi Laser Projector etc., and the company has not yet started selling Smartphones in country.
It is not certain if and when Xiaomi will officially start selling its smartphone in the US, as plans for this have been delayed for years.
With all that has happened to Huawei and the trade war between China and the US, we do not see a sale of Smartphones in the domestic market any time soon.
