A new ScreenShot editing feature is coming, which will be available on all Xiaomi devices receiving updates to MIUI 12.
Η latest version of Xiaomi Custom Android OS - the MIUI 12 - officially presented earlier this year, at the event held for its release We are 10 Youth Edition in China.
During this event, Xiaomi highlighted some of the new features introduced in the latest software update, such as new animations, new navigation gestures (gestures), live wallpapers, new privacy features and more.
Xiaomi has since released the closed update (Beta Version) of MIUI 12 for many devices, through which it has gradually added more new features. These include motion navigation support (gestures) in the MIUI camera application, a new feature named Magic Clones and now, a new one screenshot editor.
The new screenshot editor (ScreenShots), one of its members was recently identified XDA Developers with name kacskrz. In the new Beta version V20.5.25 of MIUI 12, as you can see in the attached video below, this new screenshot editor lets you take a ScreenShot of a specific part of the screen, drawing a shape around the area you want.
This processor can be activated by pressing and holding the home screen button (Home) until the processor pop-up window appears at the top of the screen.
This editor window gives you access to three options in the upper right corner. So you can freely draw your own shape, a rectangle or a circle around the area you want to capture.
Once you have finished designing the shape you want, the area you have selected is highlighted and options are displayed to repeat the design, share this screenshot you created, edit it or save it to your gallery.
In case you are not happy with your choice, you also have the option to customize the design by moving some of the sides of the highlighted area.
As mentioned earlier, this new screenshot editor has been released as part of the new release V20.5.25 of MIUI 12, and we believe it will be available on all devices that will receive the new MIUI 12 upgrades.
In terms of XTRV MIUI 12 ROM of our community, this new feature will be available in the next ROM that we will deliver to you next Friday (XTRV-20.5.29).
