Xiaomi released the MIX Fold 3 and Redmi K60 Ultra earlier this week, and both devices came out yesterday for sale in China's domestic market
Today, the company announced the numbers from the first sale of both products, and from the looks of it, Xiaomi has achieved a remarkable number of sales for both the MIX Fold 3, as well as for Redmi K60 Ultra.
According to what Xiaomi claims, the MIX Fold 3 managed to sell double the number compared to its predecessor – the MIX Fold 2. Xiaomi didn't give us the exact number of devices it sold, however, it claims that the MIX Fold 3's sales are against 2,25 times larger from the MIX Fold 2.
The MIX Fold 3's impressive sales figures in China could be attributed to its light and slim design, improved branded cameras Leica, but also in the new water drop type hinge which is much more durable than its predecessor.
A big role was also played by the overall upgrades made to the rest of the device's Hardware, but also by the fact that its pricing Xiaomi MIX Fold 3" remains the same as the one that had the MIX Fold 2 last year.
As far as Redmi K60 Ultra, Xiaomi said it sold 220.000 units of smartphone in just five minutes upon first sale. In other words, the device exceeded the sales of the previous models of the series Redmi K and Ultra and they also set a new benchmark.
For those wondering if the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3" will become available in the global market as well, the answer is Unfortunately, no. The device will still be sold exclusively in China, but at least the Redmi K60 Ultra, is expected to make its debut in the Global market (and in Europe) as Xiaomi 13t pro.
