The three devices have a triple professional-level camera system, which includes a 50MP main wide-angle camera, with 8K recording capability. Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro stands out for the top 50MP triple camera system, which features a state-of-the-art ultra-large Sony IMX707 main sensor. This sensor can capture large amounts of light and enhances advanced imaging capabilities with higher focusing speeds and increased color accuracy. At the same time, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X have a 13MP wide-angle camera, along with a 5MP telemacro camera.
The Xiaomi 12 series "wears" the advanced Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM processors. Specifically, the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 come with the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 1 processor - Qualcomm's most advanced mobile processor. Made with a 4nm process, this particular processor can enhance the rendering capabilities of the GPU by 30% and the energy efficiency by 25% compared to the previous generation.
All three devices have AMOLED Dot Display with A + rating from DisplayMate as well as TrueColor support. The screen is protected by scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus®, and supports Dolby Vision®. Finally, the new Xiaomi 12 series also supports HDR 10+.
The Xiaomi 12 series uses MIUI 13, which was released worldwide earlier this year. The upgrade includes faster storage, higher performance processes in the background, smarter operation and longer battery life.
Xiaomi 12 Pro supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge technology. With the 4,600mAh battery fully charged in 18 minutes using Boost mode, the Xiaomi 12 Pro provides next-generation charging capabilities. The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X come with a 4,500mAh battery in a sleek design. Both devices support 67W wired turbocharging for fast charging. Finally, the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 also support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
