However, so far it is not possible to avoid the use of semiconductors that are made using American tools.
Right now, the Huawei tries to get rid of the use of American chips and avoid sanctions with its own business plan. The way to do this is by trying to have a similar performance, using less modern chips. However, it is worth noting that the sales of the company's products, last year, fell by 50% and its total revenue, fall by 29% year by year.
Russia needs Chinese technology. From the moment the Samsung and Apple, left the Russian smartphone market and the Nokia with Ericsson refused to provide telecommunications equipment, the country needs new supplies just to be able to maintain its network infrastructure in its current state.
According to some reports, the Huawei and ZTE, already control the 40-60% of the wireless equipment market in Russia. More than the rest of the percentage, belongs to Nokia and Ericsson.
