These are the Smartphones that will be released in February from 12 different manufacturers (Xiaomi, Vivo, Huawei etc.)

The MWC 2024 is scheduled for 26 - 29 February, however several Smartphones from various manufacturers will likely become official before then


Gone are the days when the Mobile World Congress it was the destination of hot new releases for Smartphones.

About 12 manufacturers they are expected to announce new phones in the coming days and only a few of them fall into the category Premium, while the rest are either Mid-Rangers whether they are low-priced models.

Almost all these devices will become available on the global market and the companies that will debut with new smartphones are the Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, iQOO, Nothing, HMD, Honor, Tecno, Infinix and Itel, so below we will look at these devices one by one.

The upcoming smartphones in February 2024


1) Xiaomi 14 Ultra


The Xiaomi 14Ultra expected to be released by end of February or at MWC or earlier. Unlike its predecessors, it is expected to see a wider global release.

The device is said to arrive with quad camera system at 50MP. The main camera will feature the viewfinder Sony LYT-900 with a variable aperture lens, which will be combined with a UltraWide camera, one telephoto lens and one second telephoto lens.

The phone will be powered by a the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will draw energy from a battery at 5.180mah which will support the standards of wired and wireless charging in 90W and 50W respectively.


2) Huawei Pocket S2


The Huawei Pocket S2 rumored to be released on 27 February and could be officially announced at MWC.

The device is said to be powered by an underclocked version of the chip HiSilicon Kirin 9000s. Unfortunately, this is all the information we have about this device so far.

The Pocket S2 will succeed the original Pocket S from late 2022, which was introduced as the company's most affordable foldable smartphone at the time.


3) Oppo F25 and Reno 11F


The Oppo F25 It is expected to launch in India in February and the device will also launch in Southeast Asia under the name Oppo Reno 11F.

The phone is expected to be made available with 6,7 inch OLED screen analysis FHD +, with a renewal rate of 120Hz, with the fingerprint sensor placed below the display and the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. It will draw energy from a battery at 5.000mAh and will support the wired charging at 67W.

The device will have one triple camera setup at 64MP (with wide angle lens) + 8MP (UltraWide camera) + 2MP (Macro camera) and one front Selfie camera at 32MP. Also this Smartphone will be certified IP65 rating for resistance to water drops and dust.


4) Vivo V30 Series, V40 SE and V40 Lite


His turn Vivo V30 is also set to officially launch in February and is expected to include two devices – the Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Pro. They are also expected to be accompanied by the Vivo V40SE (known as Vivo V40 Lite).

The Vivo V30 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and will have a curved OLED screen and will support the wired charging at 80W.

On the other hand, the Vivo V40SE will succeed Vivo V30 Lite, but its specifications are not yet known.


5) Realme 12 Series


His turn Realm 12 will debut in China in February and in addition to Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus, the company will also release the base version of Realme 12 with the Realme 12 Plus.

The Pro models will be the same as those sold in international markets, while the Realme 12 Plus it will feature a similar design to more expensive models in the range, but will have downgraded specifications. It is expected to come with an unknown SoC at 2.6GHz, with a triple camera setup at 50MP (wide angle lens) + 8MP (UltraWide camera) + 2MP (Macro camera), camera selfie at 16MP and battery in 5,000mAh.

Unfortunately, so far we do not have any information about the specifications that the basic version will have Realm 12.


6) iQOO Neo 9 Pro


The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is scheduled to be released in India on February 22 with pre-orders starting at 8 February.

The device will succeed the iQOO Neo 7 Pro and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and will draw energy from a battery at 5.160mAh with support for wired charging at 120w.

The device will have OLED screen 6,78 inches with resolution 1,5K and refresh rate 144 Hz. It will come with a primary camera sensor at 50MP (Sony IMX920), a UltraWide camera at 8MP and one Selfie camera at 16MP.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro expected to cost around ₹30.000 (~ € 335).


7) Honor X9b


The Honor X9b is to be released in India on 15 February and since this device is already available in many markets, everything about it is already known.

The phone comes with 6,78 curved screen inches of resolution FHD + with a renewal rate of 120Hz, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, has a main camera at 108MP and selfie camera at 16MP.

The device is powered by a 5,800mAh battery and supports wired charging at 35W, and is expected to compete with its range Redmi Note 13 and the series Realme 12 Pro in the Indian market.


8) Nothing Phone 2a


The Nothing Phone 2a expected to become official in MWC and will be the company's first budget smartphone.

The device is expected to feature 6,7 inch OLED screen analysis FHD + and Dimensity 7200 SoC by Mediatek. It will feature a circular camera island on the back headed by a main sensor on the 50MP surrounded by lights LED type Glyph.

The device will also support wired charging at 45w and is expected to cost under the 400 €.


9) HMD Smartphones


Recently, HMD (Human Mobile Devices) has confirmed that it will launch new Smartphones under its own brand name, and at least one of them is expected to become official in MWC.

This device will feature main camera at 108MP, but so far nothing else is known about the rest of its specifications.


10) Tecno Pova 6 Series


His turn Techno Pova 6 is confirmed to be officially presented at MWC and all devices in the series will support it Dolby Atmos.

The Pova 6 Pro is expected to be powered by Dimensity 6080 SoC by Mediatek, will have an analysis screen FHD + and it will "run" Android 14.

Unfortunately, this is all the information we have so far.


11) Infinix Note 40 Series


The line Infinix Note 40 is also expected to become official in MWC and is expected to include a basic version and a second Pro version.

Interestingly, both devices in the series will be powered by the same chipset – the Mediatek Helio G99 SoC. The devices will have a resolution screen FHD + with a hole on the front for the Selfie camera and a triple camera system on the back.

The most expensive Pro version however it will support wired charging at 70W, while the base version of the Infinix Note 40 will be limited to 40w, however, both devices will support the wireless charging at 5W.


12) Itel Power Series


Η Itel is expected to release three new smartphones in the series Power in India in February.

The first is said to be "running" its version Android Go, the second model will support faster charging, and finally, the third device will arrive with a special additional memory function for the first time in India.
