Motorola Razr: The mobile endurance test brought war between website and manufacturer

The well-known technological website CNET is now in battle with Motorola for her foldable cell phone Razr.

ΤCNET has its own folding mobile functionality controller, the FoldBot, and Razr malfunctioned after 27.000 shutdowns. About 3,5 hours in FoldBot.

It was difficult to fold anymore, which triggered the war website and manufacturer.

Given that the average user checks their mobile somewhere 80-150 times a day, but also given that the CNET test is reliable, then the Razr will break in the hands of the owner somewhere between 6-12 months.

Motorola never said how many openings it expects the Razr to make successfully, but noted that it can survive for 2 years. Giving a guarantee of good operation for 1 year.

Motorola was not naturally happy with the CNET test and said the website device was not designed to control its mobile phone.

"It simply came to our notice then test inaccurate ", he concludes characteristically, while elsewhere he writes:" The CNET test is not indicative of the consumer experience with the use of Razr in the real world ". And then she released a video of her own cell phone checks.

CNET had done the same with Galaxy fold of Samsung, also a foldable mobile phone that survived 120.000 opening and closing. Much more than the Razr, but still far behind the 200.000 openings and closures promised by Samsung...
