Το Pocophone F1 has caught the eye because it is an affordable flagship smartphone and everyone is wondering how Xiaomi managed to achieve something like this. Is build quality its downside? JerryRigEverything, known for stress testing all smartphones on YouTube, proved otherwise.
The tests for Pocophone F1 start with the etching of the screen, which as is normal began to be etched from one level and then, like any screen that has Gorilla Glass 5, but Xiaomi has not mentioned the type of Gorilla Glass that "wears" device. The next test was about the fire test, where after 10 seconds of the flame on the screen, the pixels started to burn. Then, after the flame was over, the pixels started to return to their normal state, which is not the case with AMOLED displays.
The entire body of the device is made of plastic, which was found with Zack Nelson's (JerryRigEverything) blade while the test ended with its most difficult part. This has to do with applying pressure to bend the device and the PocoPhone F1 began to bend on both sides when pressure was applied, but without breaking, cracking or remaining bent after the pressure was applied.
So it seems that Xiaomi has done a very good job in the quality of construction, since it shows that being a plastic smartphone is not necessarily bad, especially when it comes to a flagship smartphone.
