If you use Skype for everyday communication with friends, colleagues or business associates, chances are you have been affected by a nasty bug that causes the app to automatically answer all calls on Android devices.
Η Microsoft is probably the only one who can say for sure when the whole issue first started to appear, but the first reports appear from January, probably immediately after the updates of the applications by the developers. Unfortunately, this issue seems to be affecting even more users as we see a lot of recent reports being posted on the Microsoft Support Forum.
There is currently no solution to prevent Skype from answering calls you want to ignore, so the only way to avoid the problem is to uninstall the application until Microsoft fixes it. Even if the "Answer incoming calls" option is turned off, Skype will not stop answering on its own, as reported by AndroidPolice.
The good news is that Microsoft has already identified the problem and managed to fix it, but only in the latest BETA application of Skype. If you want to continue using the application without being affected by the error, you can download the beta until the final version is updated later this month.
