Η Samsung is working on the development of one screen to higher pixel density in the world, reaching 10.000 PPI.
Μengineers from the university Standford and Samsung They have been working on a very interesting project for quite some time now, noting that it is now ready for demonstration. It is about a screen to higher pixel density in the world, which reaches 10.000 PPI.
The technology used is based on ultra-thin solar panels along with a brand new OLED display architecture. It uses a special layer of film to emit white light between reflective layers, one silver and the other reflective metal.
Theoretically, this is something that could be used on TVs, smartphone screens and VR headsets, however in the latest implementation it is something very useful, as it eliminates the so-called screen door effect which is a big problem in VR.
The technology seems to have a long way to go before it can be commercialized, as if Samsung had such a display at this stage, there might have been problems with computing power.
