Η Mediatek will announce a new one SoC next Monday, which apparently will power the upcoming one Redmi Note 10 recently certified by Tena.
Σso today we have new developments as the Redmi Note 10 also appeared in GeekBench with an informal Mediatek SoC. In fact, there are about a dozen entries in the GeekBench database from two Xiaomi devices, which are listed with the reference code Xiaomi M2004J7AC and M2004J7BC. The model "A"Refers to a device codenamed"atom", while the "Β»On a device codenamed«bomb».
Both devices are powered by one MT6875 SoC by Mediatek which is a brand new SoC and is probably the rumored one Dimensity 820 which we expect to be revealed in a few days.
The base frequency of the octa-core CPU is clocked at 2.0GHz based on what is stated in the GeekBench list, while in the listing made in Tena presents it timed to 2,6GHz. We believe that 2,6GHz is the maximum timing limit that the chip can reach. Both versions shown in GeekBench have 8 GB of RAM and run a ROM based on Android 10.
As we can see the reference scores are configured in the GeekBench lists for the device with the code name bomb, is at approx 640 units for one core and on 2600 units for all cores. The second device with the code name atom has a slightly lower performance and manages to score on 2400 units for all cores.
The ratings managed by the new Mediatek SoC are very close to those of the top 855 Snapdragon SoC of Qualcomm.
We will have more information about the news Dimensity 820 SoC by Mediatek, next Monday, when it will become official. As far as Redmi Note 10, and this is expected to be presented to us very soon.
