Before his new series is even officially announced RedMi Note 8, there were speculations that the company would release a variation of the series by name Redmi Note 8T.

Visually, the Redmi Note 8T will not be much different from the Redmi Note 8, as the overall design of the new device seems to be identical in both cases, and only the finish of the back cover is different. By the way, it is extremely funny that redmi by all means try to hide somewhat the fact that both devices will have a traditional, capacitive fingerprint reader, and you really have to be very careful to see it.
The first reports on this model sounded very promising because according to the first information the Redmi Note 8T would "wear" an octa-core processor (8x Kryo 470 at 8 nm) the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G at 2,2 GHz with the Adreno 618 graphics chip, and the new Smartphone would be essentially "equivalent" to the Redmi Note 8 Pro that "Wears" the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.
Unfortunately, hopes were dashed as new information emerged that completely overturned the first reports of the Redmi Note 8T. According to the new information, the Redmi Note 8T is going to be the twin brother of the simple Redmi Note 8, and the only difference between the two devices will obviously be the addition of a unit NFC which does not exist in the simple RedMi Note 8, but exists in RedMi Note 8 Pro.
The device's quad-camera will consist of a 48MP main sensor, a wide-angle lens, and two additional 2MP cameras for depth measurement and Macro photography. On the front of the phone there will be a Selfie camera at 13MP with AI support. The battery capacity will remain at 4000mAh.
Of course there is still no information on the release date of the device, and we will let you know when we find out more.
