But the news from the MIUI team does not end here, because a new function is introduced in the ROM that improves the Always On Display (AOD) function, which is typical for AMOLED screens.
Apparently Xiaomi always listens to the requests of the Mi Fans, who requested the display of the percentage of the remaining battery directly on the AOD screen, as well as the various notifications.
So on the social network Weibo, the MIUI development team confirmed that with the next firmware upgrade, all AMOLED display devices will receive this new feature, which you can see in the image below.
It is definitely a useful feature, as it will allow us to understand the status of the battery charge at a glance and therefore know if our device needs immediate recharging. The devices that will also get this Feature are the latest Xiaomi Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE, but also the Mi Mi 3, Mi 8, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Mi 8 SE.
