Xiaomi's Redmi introduced the Redmi A1 in India earlier last month, and now the company has unveiled the new model A1 Plus
The device is available in two memory configurations with 2GB / 32GB and 3GB / 32GB, priced at INR 7.499 ($ 91 / € 93) and INR 8.499 ($ 103 / € 105), respectively.
During his celebration Diwali in India, both versions will be sold at a discount of INR 500 ($ 6 / € 6) for a limited time. Xiaomi's "new" devices become available on black, blue or light green and will be sold in stores from October 17 through its official Indian website XiaomiOf Flipkart, Mi.com and other physical retail stores across the country.
We should clarify that the Redmi A1 + it's not a completely new smartphone, but essentially one Redmi A1 with a fingerprint scanner placed on the back of the device, and has an additional option with RAM at 3 GB.
The Redmi A1 + is equipped with Mediatek's Helio A22 SoC and it runs MIUI 12 based on Android 12 (Go Edition). It is built around a 6,52-inch IPS LCD screen analysis HD + with a notch for the front Selfie selfie camera at 5 MP.
The back of the device is made of plastic and has a finish with leather texture which makes it look more Premium for its class, while it has a dual camera system that includes main camera at 8MP and an analysis unit QVGA as depth sensor.
In its other characteristics redmi a1 plus included a 3,5 mm headphone jack, a special card slot microSD to expand the storage up to 512 GB, while the device is powered by a battery at 5.000 mAh which is charged at 10w via microUSB port.
