Yesterday the Xiaomi revealed it MIX Alpha and Mi 9 Pro 5G, and the third major announcement was not a smartphone, but it has a direct bearing on the future of all Xiaomi smartphone upgrades.
Η company presented its new operating system - MIUI 11 - and along with the presentation, Xiaomi released a list of smartphones who will get the update, but The Pocophone F1 was not in the directory.
As expected, its owners Pocophone F1 got worried after finding that their device was not present in this list. The Pocophone F1 was one of the biggest surprises of 2018, as it belonged to the flagship category wearing the Snapdragon 845 SoC and was launched at an impressively low price. Even in 2019, this smartphone continues to sell well, which is why one would expect to see it on the MIUI 11 upgrade list.
Today, however, all its owners Pocophone F1 should rejoice as its head Pocophone Global, Alvin Tse, revealed in a message on Twitter that the list shared by Xiaomi only includes the devices sold in China. So that's it Pocophone F1 because it is not available in China was not listed there, but it will definitely get the much-awaited update to MIUI 11. It also mentions that the stable distribution of MIUI 11 will happen around mid-October, while the global (Global enviroment) version will be available later, possibly in November.
POCO Fans, please don't worry. We will get MIUI 11 when it rolls out globally. #POCOF1

This is great news for its owners Pocophone F1, as many of them will keep the smartphone for another year. After all, Xiaomi would not be crazy to leave this device without an update to MIUI 11, since it was one of its biggest commercial successes. Considering that the Poco F1 is already taking part in the development of Android Q, it is safe to assume that the upcoming MIUI 11 for the device will be based on the new Android 10.
