5ο OPA's Business Analytics PMS worldwide
The MSc in Business Analytics, offered by the Department of Management Technology and Science (DET), of the Athens University of Economics and Business (OPA), is ranked 5th worldwide, for 2022, in the "Business Intelligence & Strategy" category, according to the authoritative international evaluation body "Eduniversal Best Masters Rankings".
The PMS in Business Analytics (Business Analytics) is full and part-time and has been operating since September 2014, attracting students not only from Greece, but also from USA, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Albania, Turkey and Singapore. It is the first relevant program created in Greece and one of the first internationally.
The upward trend from 12th place in 2021 and 16th place in 2019 prove the continuous effort for high quality postgraduate studies, which contributes to the high absorptivity of graduates in the Greek and global labor market.
The Program Director, Professor Damianos Hatjiantoniou highlights the elements that make up its dynamics:
The Master's Degree in Business Analytics, of OPA, aims to prepare executives who can combine in the best way knowledge in Business Administration, Data Analysis and Management Techniques, and analytical tools based on Statistics and Business Research with the aim of Optimum Business Decision Making .
That is, to be able to handle the information of a rapidly and constantly changing world, rich in data, with flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness for the environment in which they operate. To achieve this they gain knowledge and experience in four key areas: (a) Business Performance and Innovation Management, (Β) Quantitative Methods in Decision Making, (c) Data Analysis and Management, and (d) Business Applications and tools Analytics.
The career path of the 238 graduates verifies the success of the Program, as they excel inside and outside Greece, in companies/organizations such as The Accenture, accepted LTD, Allianz, Alpha Bank, CERN, Citrix, Cosmote, Deloitte, Hellas Direct, efood, ELPEDISON, ERGO, EY, Google, Grant Thornton, IBM, Icap, improvIT, Interamerican, IRI, KPMG, L' Oréal, McKinsey & Company, Marine Traffic, Oralēz, Oracle, Pfizer, Piraeus, PwC, SAS, Skroutz, Teka, Toyota, Vimachem, Vodafone, WITSIDE, DEDDIE, EPAP, OPAP and Teiresias.
It is recalled that Eduniversal Best Masters Rankings ranked a total of 5.500 Master's Degree Programs from 154 countries worldwide. The evaluation criteria of the ranking "Eduniversal Best Masters Rankings 2022”, include: a) the reputation of the programs, through the point of view of recruiting companies; b) the salary of the first job after graduation and c) the satisfaction of recent graduates, through a satisfaction survey conducted by Eduniversal.
