Opera: New update for Android offers improved features and functionality

The Opera for Android - the famous navigator for Internet - now comes with many new functions and features.

Κas Internet use has skyrocketed as more people stay at home due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Opera for Android has released a new update with many features designed specifically for low data usage.

These new features include Improved data saving features, better offline page viewing, fast search, and improved encryption services.

Starting with the data-saving feature that is accessible in the browser settings allows users to load pages more easily and quickly, while using less data. The Opera has added the option to display a data saving icon to the left of the address bar to let users know how much data they are saving.

Offline page views have also been improved, allowing users to save any site for offline reading. Users can save a collection of articles for later reading when they have free time. Opera also allows app users to customize the storage location for offline pages.

Opera has modified the quick completion of addresses, as it notes that users prefer to use the address bar when they are not on the home page. To speed up the process, Opera has introduced autocomplete to find addresses, in which the browser will automatically fill in the address bar when the user starts typing a word that matches the URL or title that the user enters.

The Opera for Android is one of the first browsers to support Web3.0, but also support IPFS. With the new update, users can also enter domain names .crypto and wallet addresses (Wallet) needed in Cryptomining.

The browser now supports 30-second crypto wallet top-ups used in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Switzerland and the whole EU.
