Samsung is preparing to introduce a new Exynos chipset with AMD GPU, in the second half of 2021, which will power the new laptops.
Αthis chip, named Exynos 2200, will have a AMD Radeon GPU which will offer graphics performance similar to that of PCs. This chip will be made with its lithography process Samsung at 5nm.
The new Exynos 2200 chip will first make its debut on a laptop, and then will start appearing on various Galaxy tablets (and smartphones), as it will support both Android as well as Windows.
The purpose of Samsung with the new Exynos will be to compete with Snapdragon 8cx Gen2 SoC presented by Qualcomm last September as well as its products Apple, which will have its own M1 chip, like the most recent tablets iPad Pro.
While her new chip Qualcomm uses its own CPU cores Kryo 495 which had the first generation of 8cx who had released the 2019, new Exynos will logically benefit more from their current designs ARM Cortex.
