The new Galaxy Watch will be the first device to feature the One UI Watch and the new unified platform created jointly with Google.
Αθήνα, 28 June 2021 - During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) η Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. presented its user experience One UI Watch. The new interface is designed to further enhance the connectivity experience between Galaxy Watch and smartphone.
Samsung has confirmed that One UI Watch will be available for Galaxy Watch in the new, unified platform he co-created with Google, bringing performance improvements, seamless connectivity between Watch and Android smartphones and access to even more applications. In addition, Samsung revealed that the upcoming Galaxy Watch will be the first to have the new integrated platform and One UI Watch, which will be presented later this summer.

The One UI Watch together with the new unified platform creates a whole new experience in the Galaxy Watch. As part of the new experience, the watch-compatible applications that the user will install on his smartphone, will become automatically download and on his smartwatch. For example, if the mobile application is personalized to show different hours in cities around the world, then the same will apply to the smartwatch. And if the user blocks calls and messages from his watch, they will be automatically blocked on his smartphone as well.
The new integrated platform will enable the connection and integration of new features of popular third-party applications directly into the Galaxy Watch. Thus, the requirements of all will be met, thanks to a variety of collaborations:
- Fitness fans who want to get the most out of apps like adidas Running, GOLFBUDDY Smart Caddie, Strava and Swim.com.
- Wellness lovers who want to adopt a more balanced routine in their daily life with applications such as Calm or the Sleep Cycle.
