MIUI 11: The first ROMs leaked and reveal new design - icons and new features.

Η Xiaomi is currently developing the next version of the custom Android interface called MIUI 11, and today we had the first serious leak of ROMs.

Ο The company's product manager hinted that the release of MIUI 11 is not far off, and the new version is expected to come with several improvements over MIUI 10.

Now, several days before the official announcement of the new operating system for Smartphones, Xiaomi accidentally leaked the MIUI 11 ROM for a number of devices, such as the Redmi K20 Pro, the Mi Mix 2S and the Mi 6, giving us an early look at the upcoming operating system we all expect.

The company had revealed that MIUI 11 will come with new icons, which are visible in the leaks we see in the Screenshots. The icons are colorful, and are in a different size and shape than what we see in the classic Android 10. Let's not forget that MIUI 11 will be based on Android 10 - at least on all of Xiaomi's latest devices.

Also, Xiaomi seems to have redesigned the entire UI (Appearance) of its operating system. The motto for the upcoming MIUI 11 is "Productivity Enhancement", and so, the company chose to dress its new operating system in white, as opposed to the bold text font.

Moving on to the features, the new MIUI will come with the cross-device file sharing service, which was recently announced as a collaboration between Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.

Also, the display functions will include changing the color of the text automatically over time, adding a Kaleidoscope style, which will change the lighting depending on the time of day and the lighting of the space you are in, and of course there will be and more customization options.

It seems that this leak of MIUI 11 is a Pre-Beta test ROM, so there is a good chance that the final ROM that will be officially distributed will come with other new features. We also expect the company to introduce the Ad Switch in the new MIUI 11, as promised.

The leak of MIUI 11 and the Screenshots became known by the XDA Developers, and in fact the member of the XDA community, erfanoabdi, managed to modify the ROM file so that it can be installed even on a non-Xiaomi Smartphone.

It is certain that from now on until the official presentation of MIUI 11 by Xiaomi, there will be new leaks and more information, which we will transfer to you in our next articles.
