As a whole, the device has a very good organization of its individual parts, which are organized in more than 8 separate Sandwitch type boards.
The Mi MIX Alpha 5G is a Smartphone concept equipped with Samsung's 108MP main camera (ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP). The size of the camera sensor is 1 / 1,33 inches, it has an aperture of F / 1,69, the pixel size is 1,6 μm and it can produce images at 12032 × 9024 pixels can be exported in RAW format. Each photo can be up to 40MB in size and supports four-axis OIS optical image stabilization.
The Xiaomi Mix Alpha uses a flexible OLED screen with a plastic finish to create a unique 4D surround screen. It offers an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 180,6%. This new screen also has a brand new technology that makes it work as a speaker to get rid of the handset. There is also an ultrasonic proximity sensor under the screen.
At the back it has a triple camera assembly that is aligned vertically. In addition to the main sensor at 108MP, the device has a second sensor at 12MP for telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, while in the third camera we have an ultra-wide angle lens (117 ° FOV) with a sensor at 20MP. The camera also supports Macro photography with a minimum focal length of 1,5 cm.
Other camera features include four-axis optical image stabilization, laser focus and flicker sensor. There is no extra selfie camera on the device, but you can flip the rear camera and use the rear screen as a selfie viewfinder.
