Cosmote: The Fiber To The Home lines reached 180.000 throughout Greece

In 180.000 Households and businesses now have access to 100% fiber optics up to the building, for guaranteed speeds Internet 100 & 200Mbps, through COSMOTE Fiber of the largest fiber optic network in Greece.

ΑSince the beginning of the year until today, 30.000 new FTTH lines have been added, an increase of 20% compared to the end of 2019, despite the difficult period we are going through due to the pandemic.

The new areas that have gained access to high speeds through COSMOTE Fiber are in Attica, Rafina and N. Philadelphia, in Thessaloniki, the Municipality of Agios Georgios and Sindos, while FTTH arrived for the first time in Agrinio. At the same time, until the end of June, three more areas of Attica, Melissia, Pallini and Anavyssos, as well as Diavata, Thessaloniki, will have access to the unlimited possibilities of fiber optics up to home and business. Thanks to the continuous expansion of the FTTH network, the OTE Group remains first in population coverage, having installed over 75% of the total FTTH lines in the country.

COSMOTE Business Double Play Fiberspeed Basic & Full Pack with a subsidy of € 360

For businesses in areas that have access to FTTH, COSMOTE has the COSMOTE Business Double Play Fiberspeed Basic & Full Pack programs, providing ultra high speeds of 100 & 200Mbps up to the socket, with the possibility of upgrading to 1Gbps in the future.

In addition to individuals, companies can now receive a special grant of a total of € 360 for an FTTH connection, through the Superfast Broadband action of the Ministry of Digital Government. The action is implemented with the voucher method, which subsidizes the fixed of the programs with € 13 / month, for a maximum period of 24 months and the one-time connection cost with € 48.
