Η Xiaomi A new update to the Mi A3 has been released with the release 11.0.3.0.QFQMXTC, which is problematic, and it is best to avoid it.
Η Xiaomi presented the We are A3 in India in August 2019 under the program Android One of Google. The device received an upgrade to Android 10 after delays in February 2020, but unfortunately caused a lot of problems, so the company was forced to withdraw it again a few days later.
The company released another update to Android 10 with bug fixes in April and then a newer update in June, which fixed most of the bugs.
Now, Xiaomi has started releasing a new update for the Mi A3 with the release 11.0.3.0.QFQMXTC. But as reported by many users in the Mi community, this update affects connectivity dual SIM on the device, making the second SIM card no longer available to device owners.
A user from the Mi community mentioned in the forum,
Owners of the devices also reported that some new applications have appeared on their devices. This is not specific to one region but almost all countries, as we spotted some Twitter users from India and Spain complaining about the same problem.
@cyberabadpolice sir, today I got some weird update in my Mi A3 mobile in the name of security update! Which is off 1.40 GB, after updating it, I'm getting Mi telcel! Never before got such! Any hacking update? @TelanganaDGP @GoI_MeitY @ XiaomiIndia pic.twitter.com/moP0QkdEgS

According to the latest information, Xiaomi mistakenly, instead of sending the corresponding Global Version of the ROM to the Global versions of the devices, sent the Mexican version of the ROM. The global version of the phone is running at QFQMIXM build, but what the Xiaomi sent by mistake is the QFQMXTC.
We recommend to all its owners We are A3 do not update their devices with this new ROM. We hope that Xiaomi will soon release a new ROM which will fix the problem. We will let you know again as soon as Xiaomi officially recognizes the problem and makes available a new patched ROM.
