ΣIn less than a week, the iPhone 2018 will be officially unveiled to the public and according to a recent report, the name of the company's largest model will not be the rumored iPhone XS Plus but the iPhone XS Max.
This information is confirmed by two different sources with access to its marketing departmentApple,. Regardless of the name of the two OLED iPhones now, we should think of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max as two identical models, respectively of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. With the exact same design, the same materials and the same specifications except for the size and resolution of their screen, as well as the capacity of their battery.
The new iPhone series is complemented, as we know very well, by a more economical model with a 6,1-inch LCD screen and aluminum frame, the final name of which has not yet been revealed.
In addition, sources in Germany based on past reports have estimated prices for three iPhones in 2018. Specifically, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will cost the same as the iPhone 8 when it was launched, the iPhone XS will have the same price as the iPhone 8 Plus and respectively the bigger iPhone XS Max will have the same purchase cost as the iPhone X when it was first released on the market.
This means that in the US market the cheapest iPhone 2018 will cost $ 699, the iPhone XS $ 799 and respectively, the price of the iPhone XS Max will reach $ 999. In Germany, the expected prices are: 6.1 inch iPhone LCD: € 799, iPhone XS € 909 and iPhone XS Max € 1149.
In all three cases, the price quote is for the 64GB versions. For the larger capacities, at 256GB for example, in Germany, the user will need to spend an extra 170 euros and maybe more. Accordingly, in the US it will be charged with an additional $ 150. Prices for iPhone XS 512GB and iPhone XS Max 512GB if and when released have not been estimated.
The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and 6.1 ″ LCD iPhone will incorporate Face ID, without Touch ID fingerprint sensor, glass back with wireless charging support, iOS 12 version and the new Apple A12 chip.
The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and 6.1 ″ LCD iPhone will be officially unveiled at a special event on September 12th.
