Internet Explorer: New security loophole allows data to be stolen from PCs

His support has stopped for several years, the Microsoft almost begs users not to use it, however, the Internet Explorer still holds a share of his order 3% in global level.

ΤSecurity problems are still many and serious, with the latest example being the discovery of a security researcher. THE John Page has detected a security vulnerability that has not been fixed by Microsoft and in general, allows hackers to track users and steal data stored locally on their computer.

The problem is quite serious, as you do not even need to have Internet Explorer open. In case the user chooses to open an MHT file (the web format of Internet Explorer), then it opens the "backdoor" on his computer. The researcher emphasizes that he had informed Microsoft about the issue, but the latter never proceeded to repair.

So, away from Internet Explorer and in case you need to open an MHT file for any reason, it would be good to choose another compatible application.
