Infinix : Introduces wired and wireless charging technology at 260W and 110W respectively

Η Infinix presented her excellently fast wired and wireless charging technology at 260W and 100W respectively

The new technology wired charging at 260W can fill a battery from 0 - 25% in a minute and at 100% at just 8 minutes, while as far as wireless is concerned, the battery can be fully charged in 16 minutes.

The new charging standard at 260w presented just nine months after its unveiling Thunder Charge at 180W from Infinix. The new technology is essentially an upgrade of Thunder Charge to 180W using a battery 12C from the previous 8C dual battery, with a circuit design of 4 different current pumps that intelligently determines the power requirements, and evenly distributes the number of charge pumps required.

According to the official press release published by the company, the charging efficiency reaches up to 98,5% of battery capacity, and a battery at 4.400 mAh will be able to maintain it 90% of its original capacity even after 1.000 charging cycles.

The charger is technology GaN and circuit infrastructure AHB, with high power density, small size and safe charging control. The cable is also important and Infinix has developed a new type of cable, which can carry current up to 13, to ensure smooth charging at 260W.

Η wireless charging at 110W uses custom made small sensitive coils with different architectures. Now there will be fewer but larger coils in the same space, reducing the internal resistance, which will drastically reduce the temperature of the phone during wireless charging.

The new technology introduced by Infinix also supports the reverse charge, which is compatible with other protocols, including Power Delivery 3.0.

The company has confirmed that the new technology will soon be available in an upcoming Infinix Note series smartphone, which will be released by the end of the year.
