Τin November, Google announced Android support for the upcoming Android Foldables devices, and the Samsung had shown us its first Foldable device. Most manufacturers are expected to announce their foldable devices in 2019, but a new scandalous leak today created a real mess, showing with a Video an interesting look at a device that is probably from Xiaomi.
After first leaks for the Galaxy S10 today, Evan Blass posted a video with a Foldable device that is fully functional, and runs MIUI OS. No one can yet talk about the authenticity of this video or device, but it looks like the device is from Xiaomi.
Can't speak to the authenticity of this video or device, but it's allegedly made by Xiaomi, I'm told. Hot new phone, or gadget porn deepfake? pic.twitter.com/qwFogWiE2F

The 20-second clip shows a device from China. In this we see the lock screen and the MIUI Desktop which is the classic Xiaomi OS, and includes the status bar icons and the lock screen shortcuts at the bottom of the screen.
We also see all the known applications contained in Xiaomi's MIUI, such as music icons, photo gallery and notes. The time icon in the upper left corner may indicate that this device is running Android 9 Pie.
As shown in the video the device folds in 2 parts and creates a triple screen design, with the main screen remaining active in the center, and being refolded after folding, to a new Desktop which is the well-known MIUI UI, and the other 2 parts smaller screens to become part of the back of the device.
In this way the device becomes from a Tablet a really small and beautiful device with screen dimensions much smaller than a Note.
A power button appears on the center edge of the device. Since this video is shot in the dark, it is difficult to see the rest of the device, including the size of the frames.
Meanwhile, there seems to be some outward bending at the two hinge points, resulting in a device that does not look completely flat, even when in tablet mode.
From the video presentation, the user on the Miui operating system seems to be quite smooth. Rumors had it since last year that Xiaomi was working on a Foldable device, but again, it is not clear if this is the device or if it is a prototype that is not in its final form yet.
Meanwhile, another interesting aspect to consider is that as we learned last year, Google and Xiaomi are working together on a new device, and since Google is working on Android Foldables to ensure seamless application compatibility, maybe this new Foldable device to be the result of this collaboration. Google announced in November that several OEM manufacturers are expected to release folding devices soon.
We have reservations about all of the above, and will look forward to learning more about all of them, and if we are really dealing with a new surprise from Xiaomi in the field of Foldable devices.
And it makes sense for many to be very interested, since we all know that Xiaomi prices will again be the best Value For Money, in this category of folding flagships.
