According to a new one Diploma of Patent from CNIPA, Xiaomi is working on a new one Folding Smartphone that has a special feature.
Η Xiaomi always makes sure to bring some innovative features to the smartphone market. Recently, the company released Mi CC9 Pro/My Notes 10.
Although these devices are not the first in the world to use a Penta-Camera installation (five cameras), they are the first to have a main sensor in 108MP in a Penta layout.
In fact, it is the first Smartphone with a 108MP sensor to enter mass production worldwide.
According to a new patent from CNIPA, the company is working on a new foldable Smartphone. The blueprints of this patent show that Xiaomi's foldable Smartphone uses not only a Pop-Up Selfie camera as we have seen so far, but also a PoP-UP system of all five cameras.
Interestingly, the five rear cameras are located on this special PoP-Up mechanism.
If we take a closer look at these sketches we will see that the left side of the device seems to be thicker than the right. This is because the left side of the device will house the pop-up camera and possibly the battery.
This smartphone is folded along a hinge, and there is no indication that this device can be folded freely on either side.
In general, we should keep in mind that this is just a patent and we may never see such a device go into mass production. However, it is good to know that the big manufacturers are doing what they can to improve what we have seen so far in terms of folding Smartphones from various manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, Motorola and others.
It is certain that all manufacturers are trying to solve the problems that exist with the screen protector, especially after the problems that Samsung had with the implementation that it did in its own Samsung Galaxy Fold.
