Is Samsung removing the 3.5mm headphone port starting with the Galaxy A8s?

Η Samsung is one of the few companies that retains the 3.5mm headphone port on its smartphones, which is reportedly expected to change as the Galaxy A8s may be the company's first smartphone without a headphone port.

There are some issues regarding smartphones that Samsung has shown to be unaffected to date. These are the notches on the screen, with her finally "bowing" and revealing the Infinity-U / V / O Display screens, with the other issue having to do with the 3.5mm headphone port which she still keeps on her smartphone .

But that may change, as leakster @MMDDJ_ mentions on his Twitter account that there is a possibility for Samsung to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy A8s, thus paving the way for the use of wireless headphones and wired via USB-C to the next Galaxy S and Galaxy Note.

What remains to be seen is what Samsung will prepare for the Galaxy A8s, with some of its features being ported to the Galaxy S and Note, at least in terms of screen design with the selfie camera, and whether will remove the headphone port that Samsung still retains on its devices.
