A new report from Reuters suggests that Huawei may have access to 5G chipsets, and its first 5G smartphone will debut before the end of 2023.

However, a new report from the Reuters agency suggests that the Chinese company may have found a solution to this burning issue as well!
In particular, the Reuters states that HUAWEI collaborates with SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation) for the joint development of young people 5G chipsets in China using the process N + 1 of the second and the software EDA (Electronic Design Automation) of the first. From previous reports it is known that SMIC's manufacturing process is on par with its 7nm competitors in terms of performance and stability.
So far there is no official position from the two companies, however, the information says that they will be built in the first phase 2 – 4 million 5G chipsets with the possibility of reaching up to 10 million., while HUAWEI's first new 5G smartphone will possibly be presented before the end of 2023.
