The design of the Google Pixel 6a has been revealed
The Google Pixel 6a shares the same design approach with his older brothers, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Starting from the front of the device, the Pixel 6a will have a flat 6,2 inch OLED screen with the Selfie camera in the center of the top of the screen and the fingerprint scanner below the screen.
On the back of the device there are dual rear cameras and a single LED flash that are housed in a unit that looks like a cornice similar to the Pixel 6. From these amazing performances, we can see that the Pixel 6a will have a glass back and a double tone finish. On the right side of the box, we can see the volume keys and the power key (On / Off).
The volume keys look a bit cramped considering the size of the device. The phone will have approximate dimensions 152,2 x 71,8 x 8,7 millimeters (10,4mm including Rear Camera Module).
At the bottom, we see a door USB type C along with two grilles, one for the speaker and one for the microphone. There are antenna slots on all four sides and on the SIM card slot on the left side of the device.
Google Pixel 6a Specifications (expected)
The Google Pixel 5a which was released in August had quite mediocre specifications, such as Snapdragon 765G and rear cameras in 12MP + 16MP. So we expect that Pixel 6a will be one step above its predecessor.
The phone could have one Tensor processor medium range as one Tensor lite or even one Snapdragon 778G, but at the moment we are only speculating.
Since his older brothers had a problem with the camera material, we can expect a similar treatment for Pixel 6a. The main camera can be the same as Pixel 6, that is, one sensor at 50MP (Samsung ISOCELL GN1).
The Pixel 6a may also have 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. Since Pixel has to do with the software experience, we expect the phone to be released with Android 12, with software support for up to 3 years and security updates for up to 5 years.
It will be interesting to see how Google will price it Google Pixel 6a and when it intends to release it.
