Google appears to be complying "partly" with EU directives

After the consecutive fines from European Union for monopoly practices and promotion of only its own services and products on Android devices, h Google is preparing to comply in a rather controversial way.

Όas you can see in the screenshots, the Google will show the user the options he has for alternatives in terms of search engine and web browser in the application store Google Play.

Specifically, 4 additional options will be displayed randomly with a direct install button to facilitate the user, as well as a separate screen from the settings to set them as defaults.

It is reminiscent in general of what the Microsoft in early 2010 with the emergence of alternatives for web browser other than Internet Explorer, however, it is obvious that the Google promotes its own products again by placing them at the top of the list.

To see if the European Union will accept it or if it will sew a new suit…
