Google: Save professional user passwords in plain text

Η Google notes that its systems were still protected from encryption, and have no indication that there was a breach or that the passwords fell into the hands of someone cunning.

Σhappens to even the best families after all. It's not just Facebook that was "caught" storing passwords in plain text files, as Google began alerting users of the G Suite business that during the password recovery process in… 2005 a "mistake" was made that left some of them exposed to company servers.

The company notes that its systems were protected from encryption even then and have no indication that there was a breach or that the passwords fell into the hands of an expert. To keep her head calm, however, she goes on to inform users and asks G Suite account administrators to change their passwords. For those who do not answer, it proceeds automatically to reset the password.

Please note that this issue does not affect the simple accounts of other users.
