The reputable site iFixit conducted the default disassembly test of its new most affordable mobile phones Google, The Pixel 3A and 3A XL.
ΟThe devices managed to score "6/10", as their screen is quite easy to remove, without the need to use a heat gun, which is often required for the screens of many other devices.
The Pixel 3A is not waterproof, as it uses a spongy material between the body and the screen, which is what makes the screen easy to remove.
Spare parts that usually require repair are fortunately removable. The USB-C port and the headphone port (jack) can be easily changed without much effort. The battery is also easily removable.
Of course, not everything is rosy, as the tens of thin wires that connect the inside of the device can be blocked or cut very easily. By comparison, the Google Pixel 3 received a "fix" score of 4/10 from iFixit.
