This futuristic Samsung smartphone promises to deliver Pro-Quality sound

Η Samsung, is currently the protagonist in the Smartphone market, but apparently does not rest and continues to work on new innovative plans for the future of Smartphones.

ΕWhile most Smartphone manufacturers have been focusing on improving the camera and batteries in their devices lately, the Korean manufacturer seems to have a more specialized idea that will make the following Galaxy Smartphones to stand out again from the competition.

A patent application was recently discovered by Samsung, which reveals that the company is investigating the design of a smartphone with a speaker tuning chamber (Bass Reflex). Yes, the number 1 smartphone maker in the world wants to offer even better sound quality to its smartphones.

Η Samsung had applied for this patent at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) in early February of this year. In accordance with LetsGoDigital WIPO has published this Samsung patent entitled “Electronic device with expandable interior”Last week, along with one documentation 35 pages describing the implementation of this innovation.

According to the patent documents, the Samsung wants to adapt to this new smartphone with a durable back cover, combining it with a flexible top. All the internal circuits and materials of the phone will be connected to the upper part of the body. This flexible section will be able to move slightly forward to create a speaker tuning chamber between it and the rear panel.

Samsung will probably be able to fit many speaker units in and around this mobile part to achieve high quality sound. The speakers will be mounted on both sides of the phone to provide stereo sound. There will also be a cooling fan underneath, which will help dissipate heat.

The documents in this patent also mention the use of a polymer plastic screen. Samsung used this type of flexible display in the first Galaxy fold. Since then the company has improved the screen and equipped it with a more scratch-resistant flexible glass, the Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), who presented it with Galaxy z flip. It Galaxy z fold 2 also has one UTG panel. Since Samsung reserves the right to use any hardware it wants, this new phone (if it finally sees the light of day) will most likely be equipped with a UTG panel, or who knows, the company may also have a more advanced display technology in the works.

Interestingly, there is also a reference to the stylus. The current generation of Samsung Folding Smartphones do not support it S Pen However, there have been recent reports that a company is working on this issue, and therefore support is expected. S Pen in the next folding Smartphones of the series Galaxy to be released in the future.

Last but not least, this patent shows a Smartphone with a more rectangular body and not rounded as we usually see on Samsung smartphones. But it may be a futuristic device, and the Korean company is also considering making some design changes.

When will this futuristic Samsung smartphone be released?

As with any patent application, there is no way to confirm that Samsung is actually working on this prototype Smartphone. However, this shows that flexible screens can open up much more possibilities for the design that future smartphones will have, as well as the form factor they will have.

Most Smartphone OEMs are now exploring ways to improve the sound quality of their own devices, so there is a good chance that this prototype Samsung Smartphone will see the light of day at some point and hit the market. However, this is definitely not going to happen fast. This futuristic Samsung phone is literally a Smartphone of the future.
