Η Redmi released last year its first tablet called Redmi Pad, but now its successor, viz redmi pad 2, is reportedly already in the works
The upcoming tablet was spotted a few days ago in its certification database EEC, and today the trusted Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, revealed to us the basic specifications that the device will have.
According to DCS, its screen size redmi pad 2 will range from 10 to 11 inches, will have LCD screen with 2K resolution and refresh rate at 90Hz. The upcoming tablet is said to feature one rear camera at 8MP and one 5MP front selfie camera.
The upcoming redmi pad 2 will be powered by the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 and is expected to be powered by a battery at 8.000mAh.
As argued by Digital Chat Station, new redmi pad 2 will be placed as one cheap entry-level model with a very affordable price, but unfortunately the rest of the details of the device remain a mystery. But if we go by the leaked specs, it looks like the redmi pad 2 it will be a pretty good upgrade over its predecessor.
To recall, the Redmi Pad that debuted last year features 10.6 inch screen with 2K resolution and refresh rate 90 Hz. It has certification Widevine L1 for streaming content HD in applications OTT.
The tablet is equipped with four speakers and dual microphones and is certified Dolby Atmos . Internally, the Redmi Pad powered by Mediatek Helio G99 SoC and accompanied by up to RAM 8GB and 128GB of storage.
