Full text of the letter:
In this difficult situation we are called to cope together, in solidarity and cooperation. It is time to fulfill our role individually and collectively. For this reason, the Ministry of Digital Governance mobilizes all its services, agencies and synergies. In this context, we must all contribute so that citizens, the state and businesses have the right resources to respond as best they can to the new reality.
I invite you to consider which of the services and / or products you provide for a subscription may be available free of charge for as long as the emergency measures last: services and products that facilitate distance work and education, as well as entertainment - and let us know. by including it in the #DigitalSolidarityGR initiative, which will immediately act as a platform.
At this juncture we must be a dynamic part of the response to the pandemic challenge. And I'm sure your response will be immediate and decisive.
So far, however, suffice it to say that all these companies, the only thing they have announced so far, are the protection measures they have taken for their staff (and they are doing well).
As for the releases for the provision of some free services due to the emergencies arising from the coronavirus pandemic, so far they are whistling indifferently or to put it simply… .muga in the struga (the silence of the lambs).
To point out that in these extraordinary and unprecedented conditions that have developed worldwide, we should all contribute in any way we can, and companies should break away from their usual practices, and contribute as much as possible in practice.
Everyone will be judged in the end for their attitude in the difficult times that our society is going through now.
