The Ministry of Agriculture and Food announced that on a farm in the province Ramensky (Moscow) the use is tested VR headset to cows to see if they are producing more milk this way.
ΠAbout 2 years ago, VR technology became very popular and everyone wanted to try this new experience. However, its practical application in everyday life was not so successful, with the result that its popularity was greatly reduced. But new research shows that VR may not be necessary for humans, but it is for cows!
With VR, cows produce better milk
Recently, breeders in Moscow conducted an experiment by putting VR Headsets on their cows to see how it affects the animals and especially if it has an impact on milk production.
The cows were watching pictures of beautiful farms in the countryside, as opposed to the boring environment of a dairy industry.
The colors in the pictures were adjusted to what the cows see best, using more shades of red rather than so much of green and blue.
In addition, VR headphones are designed to fit comfortably on the cow's head, making it easier to wear and not to bother.
The results of the study were positive, as producers observed better milk production. The experiment has improved the mental and emotional health of cows and it seems to them that VR is more important than humans.
Apparently there in Russia they have taken it to another level. Imagine going to a pasture and seeing cows grazing wearing VR Headsets….
