CovID Pass: Greek innovation for the next day in travel

Greek engineers designed a platform which can be the solution.

A 12-member team of engineers UBITECH software (www.ubitech.eu) which is active in the field of production of innovative software solutions, designed and implemented the CovIDpass software platform (https://devpost.com/software/covid-pass), which seems to be a response to managing the movement of people safely, the next day, after the end of the restrictions.

The platform CovIDpass gathered her interest organizing committee and the mentors involved in the process.

It is noteworthy that all the teams, and obviously the UBITECH team, worked 48 hours from a distance, proving that the common goal can overcome any distance.

The CovIDpass software platform consists of the following operating subsystems:

- One web application (web application) which is used by them public health professionals or private bodies, who are in charge of carrying out the medical procedure for the examination and certification of the immunity of the citizens, in order to issue the Digital Certificate of Immunity of the Koronovi that will bear the date of its issuance, taking into account the medical data on of immunity.

- A blockchain infrastructure in which the encrypted code of each case is stored and will be maintained Digital Certificate in QR code format. The blockchain subsystem of the CovIDpass platform is in charge of serving the citizen's ecosystem verification questions that will come from the aviation ecosystem or other similar means of public transport.

The "valid" Digital Certificate of Immunity will practically allow the passenger to board in conjunction with his / her travel documents.

- One application of smart mobile devices(mobile application) which will allow the authorities of airports or other boarding stations to scan the encrypted QR code, decrypt the information and certify its correctness in combination with the validity of the certificate through the blockchain infrastructure, allowing the passenger to board safely.
