Η ASUS officially announced the new generation of ROG smartphones, with the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro, also becoming available in Europe
Η new series of ASUS ROG Phone 6 Smartphones are aimed mainly at hardcore mobile gamers (if that term can be used) offering them an impressive design and powerful technical features.
Both have 6.78'' AMOLED FHD+ screen (2448 x 1080) with image refresh rate 165Hz and touch response 720Hz, while the maximum brightness reaches the 1200nits. The display can be adjusted to a pace 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz and 165Hz, while it is coated with Gorilla Glass Foods for protection from scratches and bumps.
In hardware we find a processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, 12GB / 16GB / 18GB (only in Pro) memory RAM LPDDR5, storage space 256GB / 512GB UFS 3.1 non-expandable, in-display fingerprint sensor, reprogrammable AirTrigger buttons on the right side and back of ultrasound technology, cooling system that lowers the CPU temperature down to -10°C, two stereo speakers on the front with technology support Dirac Virtuo Spatial Audio, three microphones and 6000mAh battery with 65W charger.
In the camera sector there are three sensors on the back 50MP Sony IMX766 + 13MP ultrawide + 5MP macro and 12MP Sony IMX663 front camera. Mark both slots USB-C (one on the side and one on the bottom), as well as the fact that their construction is certified in the protocol IP54 for protection against drops and dust. The operating system is Android 12 with user interface ROG + Zen UI.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 starts from €999 in Europe for the version with 12GB + 256GBWhile ASUS ROG Phone 6 Pro with 18GB + 512GB starts with a price of €1299.
