ASUS has just announced the launch of the new Zenfone 11 Ultra smartphone through its online event.
The new Zenfone 11 Ultra will be quite similar to ROG Phone 8 Pro which had been released in January 2024.
However, let's see in detail what this new model has to offer such as its specifications and features.
The design of the Zenfone 11 Ultra
At first glance, the design of the smartphone seems to be quite simple. On the back of the device, in the upper left corner, the three cameras will be housed in a square module. At the bottom, we can make out a Chinese symbol that means “people”. Apart from these, the smartphone remains quite simplistic and clean in terms of its design.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra will be available in the following four color options:
- Skyline Blue
- Eternal Black
- Misty Gray
- Desert sand
Η ASUS claims that its new smartphone is made of aluminum which is 100% recyclable and that his screen is environmentally friendly with 22% recyclable glass.
Specifications
For screen, the Zenfone 11 Ultra will have a LTPO AMOLED at 6.78 inches with FHD + resolution and refresh rate at 144Hz. The maximum brightness of the screen is enough 2500 nits and will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
On the back of the device, as we mentioned above, there will be three cameras. The main one will be one Sony IMX890 at 50MP to ASUS 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0. As for the other two, there is a me ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens at 13MP; and another telephoto lens at 32MP with 3x optical zoom.
As for the front selfie camera, will be in 32MP and will be housed in a small notch at the top of the screen.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will feature a large battery at 5500mAh with support for wired/wireless charging at 65W and 15W respectively. Note that the smartphone comes without a charger.
Other notable features include support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 3.5mm headphone port, stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio and Qualcomm aptX lossless audio.
It will be available in two different RAM and storage combinations. More specifically:
- RAM at 12GB and storage space at 256GB – Initial price: €999
- RAM at 16GB and storage space at 512GB – Initial price: €1,099
