Η Amazfit presented the GTR 2 and GTS 2 in China last month, and today our company officially presented their Global versions.
ΤThe company's two Smartwatch finally leave the Chinese domestic market, and start for United Kingdom and the United States, before they become available in other countries.
The Amazfit GTR 2 becomes available only at Obsidian Black color while the GTS 2 will be available in colors Midnight Black, Desert Gold and Urban Gray.
Both devices in the series Amazfit GT 2 may have the same pricing and largely similar basic functions, but differ significantly in some key aspects.
The first and most obvious is their design. The GTS 2 has a rectangular aluminum body with 1,65 ″ AMOLED screen and silicone straps width 20 mm, while the GTR 2 on the other hand it has a round AMOLED screen 1,39 ″ and is available in two versions - one Sport version with aluminum body and 22 mm wide silicone straps, and one classic version with stainless steel body and leather strap 22 mm wide.
The other important difference between them is the battery life. The capacity battery in 246 mAh which has the GTS 2 can offer autonomy from one week of normal use and up to 20 days in energy saving mode. The GTR 2 on the other hand, it has a much larger battery in 417mAh which can provide autonomy from 14 days up to 38 days, respectively with the same use.

Finally, the weight of the devices differs, as well GTS 2 weighs in 24,7 gr of without the strap compared to 31,5 grams for Sport version of GTR 2 and 39 grams for Classic version.
In the other features all devices are identical, packing a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, air pressure sensor and ambient light sensor. They also have built-in GPS and GLONASS receivers and are waterproof up to 5 ATM (~ 50 meters depth).
They can watch 12 different sports and use the Bluetooth 5.0 to pair with your phone.
Both devices have a speaker and a built-in microphone, through which they can activate the Alexa of Amazon, but the feature will not be available when released and Amazfit promises to launch a OTA upgrade which will enable this feature.
The news Smartwatch will be available first in the US, and users will be able to do all the basic chores they normally do with their home speaker, such as requesting weather information or adding an appointment to their personal diary.
