The 47mm version of the Amazfit GTR, which was priced at $ 143 when it was released last July, will now sell for $ 110. The 42mm version, which started at $ 114, will now go on sale for $ 84.
According to the new prices, the GTR 42mm will now be cheaper than Amazfit GTS sold today at $ 114.
Huami states that the watches will be available with the new prices from January 1 at JD.com, Xiaomi Youpin and the Huami online store.
The 47mm Amazfit GTR has a 1,45-inch AMOLED display with 454 × 454 resolution, while the 42mm version has a 1,2-inch AMOLED display with 390x 390 resolution. Both Smartwatch have screen protector with Gorilla Glass 3 and electrophobic coating. The watches are connected via Bluetooth 5.0, have NFC, GPS + GLONASS and PPG BioTracker sensor for advanced heart rate monitoring. They can attend 12 different sports activities, such as outdoor running, carpet running, hiking, outdoor and indoor cycling, climbing, skiing, swimming etc.
The Amazfit GTR is not just a watch that tracks your physical activity. It can also control music playback, alert you to the weather, alert you to messages and calls from your phone. It also has a sitting reminder, compass and Smartphone find function.
The 42mm version packs a 195mAh battery for up to 12 days, and has a 20mm strap that can be easily replaced, while the 47mm version has a 410mAh battery with up to 24 days, and has a 22mm strap. Both Smartwatch are water resistant up to 5ATM.
Η Huami also recently announced a Lite version of the GTR 47 mm which is currently on sale at € 99 at Gearbest. It has tracking for 8 activities instead of 12, has no GPS, and has a silicone strap instead of a leather one.
