Earlier this week, Huami confirmed that it would soon be introducing the new GTS 2 and GTR 2 smartwatches, the successors to last year's GTS and GTR.
Κthese two Smartwatch will have a curve AMOLED screen and metal housing. The GTS 2 has a new design with a protruding section and wrapped around the sides of the crown. The company even emphasizes the possibility of autonomous playback of music for these smart watches.
They will also support blood oxygen saturation, using 4 groups of green, red and infrared LEDs, similar to those of Apple Watch Series 6 released earlier this week.
The new smartwaches will also support the smart voice help function that will work offline. Last June, the company announced the Oxygen Beats, a special algorithm mechanism that eliminates signal noise during the measurement of oxygen saturation and improves the measurement accuracy by up to 50%, as it uses multiple sets of values for the detection of oxygen.
This will also use a new feature named SomnusCare, which will help users understand the state and quality of sleep, and as the company reports, sleep detection accuracy has been improved by 80% and can detect sleep data for 25 minutes, with almost 100% accuracy.
We will find out all the details, including their price, when the new smartwaches become official next week on September 22nd.
