Η Qualcomm announced an exciting new feature for Smartphones powered by Snapdragon 865 and 765 SoC, by name Elite Gaming.
ΤIt will be possible to update the GPU Drivers through one application instead of having to update the entire ROM to make this possible. This new feature is available on three Xiaomi Smartphones that will be the first in the world to take advantage of this new feature.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 5G , Mi 10 Pro 5G and Redmi K30 Pro , but later all the devices of the company that "wear" the S865 SoC, will now be able to update the GPU drivers regardless of the ROM they have. Unfortunately, the app is currently only available in Xiaomi's Chinese app store, but that will soon change.
This process is quite similar to how to upgrade GPU Drivers on PCs - where of course you do not need a new version of Windows every time to update your drivers.
We hope to see this feature added later to all models of the company, regardless of the SoC they "wear".
