RedmiBook 14 : Received EEC certification and coming to Europe

The RedmiBook 14 has just been certified by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and is ready to "set foot" on European soil.

ΑEven though Redmi is an independent company now, this does not mean that it ceases to belong to Xiaomi, which is the parent company. Xiaomi seems to be aiming to launch its affordable RedmiBook 14 laptop in Europe as well.

Certification page revealed by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhor on Twitter, and as we can see, the official website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certified the new RedmiBook with license number KZ000000223.

This move definitely confirms that Xiaomi has finalized its plans to launch the RedmiBook 14 in Europe and the global market in general.

This is definitely very good news for those who might be interested in getting the Redmi laptop, and want to avoid the risk and high prices associated with shipping from China.

RedmiBook 14 specifications

The RedmiBook 14 has a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1.920 x 1.080 pixels and a screen ratio of 81.2%. The laptop is powered by an eighth generation Intel Core i3 processor, which offers clock speeds of up to 3.9GHz. It is equipped with Intel UHD 620 graphics, 4GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB SSD capacity. There is a 46W battery that supports 1C fast charge technology, which allows it to charge to 50% in 35 minutes.

As for the other features, the RedmiBook 14 comes pre-installed Windows 10 Home Edition. The laptop also comes with Xiaomi's Smart Unlock 2.0 feature, which allows you to unlock the device in just 1,2 seconds via the Mi Band 3 and Mi Band 4.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi with a network speed of up to 433mbps, Bluetooth 5.0, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port and a 3,5mm headphone jack. Finally, the laptop weighs only 1,5kg.
