Η Xiaomi released through Youpin crowdfunding, a new smart pillow offering features such as massage and stereo speakers.
ΤRecently, Xiaomi introduced a wide variety of products to the Youpin crowdfunding website, some of which include Mijia Induction Cooker S1 (induction hob) and the Mijia Rearview Youth 1s dash cam (Smart Dash camera - car mirror).
The new smart pillow is made of 93% pure natural latex from Thailand. The pillow is offered in two size options, one for men and one for women. The men's pillow is of course larger in size and measures 60cm x 34cm x 7cm / 11cm in dimensions and weighs 1,2 kg. On the other hand, the smallest pillow that measures 60cm x 34cm x 5cm / 8cm in dimensions and weighs 1 kg.
The Xiaomi Smart Pillow has a butterfly-shaped compartment, which simply means it has a slightly concave area in the center where the neck is supposed to rest. This area heats up and has three pulses that increase blood flow and relieve stress.
The heating of this area can be adjusted to 6 different temperatures ranging between 38 and 53 degrees Celsius. The three black frames that exist like patches, emit a pulse of low frequency 1000 Hz, which according to the company, is harmless to the human body. These black patches can be adjusted to 15 different positions of intensity and offer two additional functions in addition to the normal massage function which include massage and acupuncture function.
As mentioned earlier, the Xiaomi Smart Pillow has two invisible stereo speakers and the music is transmitted to the auditory nerve by pulsing through the skull. This amazing sleep gadget also features Bluetooth, which is used to connect to a smartphone (both Android and iOS). In addition, it supports intelligent sleep monitoring, and has predefined sleep aid programs as well as automatic shutdown of its functions.
The smart pillow is currently only available for pre-order at the price of Yuan 299, which translates to about $ 42. Deliveries of the product will begin on December 14, and of course at the moment it will be sold only in China.
