Η Redmi officially announced today a new version of the popular entry-level smartphones Redmi 8A released last September.
Αthis time it is called Redmi 8a dual and the difference is in the rear camera, where the single 12MP f / 1.8 Sony IMX363 sensor was replaced with two 13MP + 2MP depth sensors.
There is no change in the other technical characteristics. Its construction at the back includes Aura XGrip Design for better grip and is totally coated by P2i for protection against drops.
The Redmi 8a dual Comes with 6.22 '' HD + LCD with notch-drop and Gorilla Glass 5 coating, Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor, 2GB / 3GB RAM, 32GB storage (microSD expansion up to 512GB), 8MP front selfie camera with Face function Unlock and Portrait Mode, dualSIM, infrared sensor, WiFi (VoWiFi), FM radio.
The operating system is based on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10, 5000mAh battery with 10W charger (support up to 18W but not included in the box), USB Type-C sockets and 3.5mm headphone jack, while it does not include a fingerprint sensor.
It will be released on February 18 initially in India at prices of 6499 rupees (approximately € 85) for the 2GB + 32GB version and 6999 rupees (approximately € 95) for the 3GB + 32GB version.
