The next device that Redmi is going to release is not a Note series device, but the Redmi 7.
ΤThe phone has been spotted at TENAA, and as its release date approaches, it also reveals some of its specifications.
The list includes a device with model number M1810F6LE, and reveals a larger screen of 6,26 inches with HD + resolution (1520 × 720 px). The Redmi 6 had a smaller 5,45-inch LCD screen, so apparently the screen size of the RedMi 7 will be similar to the variants of the Redmi Note 7, which have 6,3-inch screens.
According to TENAA, the body of the phone will have dimensions of 158.6mm x 76.4mm x 8.9mm and will weigh 180g. The phone will come in black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple and gray color options.
The leaks also reveal a much larger battery than we saw in the Redmi 6. The Redmi 7 will have a 3.900 mAh battery, according to MySmartPrice, while TENAA lists the minimum battery capacity of 4.000 mAh.
Previous leaks suggest that the Redmi 7 comes with 3GB of RAM combined with 32GB of storage as a base model, with two other variants - both with 64GB of internal storage and with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
The Redmi 7 should be close to its official announcement as it goes through TENAA, but at the moment we know nothing else about this phone. We're curious to know if the Redmi 7 will also feature front and rear glass, like the Note 7 and Note 7 Pro, or if the back of the device will eventually be made of plastic, and if it will have the same attractive reflective finish.
