Η Xiaomi presented today the first laptops ultrabook computers in India with two models Mi NoteBook 14 and Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition.
ΚBoth models have sleek 14-inch screens, a magnesium-aluminum frame, 10th generation Intel processors and prices that are much lower than the standard prices of the respective laptops on the market.
Both models Mi NoteBook 14 have panels FHD anti-glare with a ratio of dimensions 16: 9. Its version Horizon Edition has a screen with thinner rims on the sides and top that are only 3 mm and give it a 91% screen to body ratio. The reduced bezels left no room for a built-in webcam, which is why Xiaomi combines the My Webcam HD with every Mi NoteBook 14 and is available for free in every package.
The typical Mi NoteBook 14 comes with larger hoops than in Horizon Edition, but retains the same overall design and weighs just 1,5 kg, while the Horizon Edition weighs 1,35 kg. Both laptops have stereo speakers at the bottom.
The other features
In terms of their other features, its standard version Mi NoteBook 14 comes with a processor Intel Core i5-10210U 10th generation, while for graphics there is a choice between Intel GPU UHD 620 or her Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU. The Horizon version has CPU options in between Intel Core i5-10210U 10th generation or his Intel Core i7-10510U 10th generation and is combined with Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU. Both laptops come with RAM X and SSD 256/512GB with the top version of Horizon Edition available and a faster disc option NVMe.
As for the input / output ports, you will find two ports USB 3.1 a door USB 2.0, one HDMI and a port USB Type-C. There is also a headphone jack and a dedicated charging port. Laptops come with batteries that have a rated capacity of 46Wh capable of providing up to 10 hours of use while the chargers are on 65w and can charge the battery to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Xiaomi also brings the Mi Blaze Unlock, which allows users to unlock laptops from We Band as well as My Smart Share for fast file transfers from Xiaomi phones. The order of Mi NoteBook 14 accompanied by Windows 10 Home and give its use for free for one month Office 365.
Prices and availability
Its basic model Mi NoteBook 14 with storage space in 256 GB starts from INR 41,999 (~ $ 553 / € 485), while the version with storage in 512 GB is priced at INR 44,999 (~ $ 593 / € 521). The model with GeForce MX 250 GPU is priced at INR 47,999 ($ 633 / € 556)
The Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition starts from INR 54,999 ($ 725 / € 633) for the version with Core i5, while the version with Core i7 priced at INR 59,999 ($ 791 / € 695).
Sales will start in India from 17 June and it remains to be seen when they will be available in Europe from the official Xiaomi network, but also from InfoQuest in Greece, and with what prices they will come to us.
